Junior BatSquad's 1966 BATCOPTER ADVENTURE at the New Jersey State Fair!

Bat-Blog Fans might remember reading about the 1966 BATCOPTER being at the New Jersey State Fair last month ( June 24th to July 10th ). If you went there you could actually ride in this Classic Bat-Vehicle for a small fee ( worth every penny ). Well, our Buddy BatDave took his two nieces and his Girlfriend's youngest nephew to the event. Yes, these lucky kids got to see the Original 1966 Batcopter!! For people unfamiliar with this vehicle, this is the real-life prop used in the 60's BATMAN Movie. It is now owned by a Pilot named Captain Gene Nock. He has totally restored the thing & takes it to State Fairs for people to ride.

Now, check out these fun photos. The 1st one is shows all the kids as they got there & they're standing next to the sign for the attraction. the great thing about this pic, if you look, you can see the Batcopter flying in the air. Wow! What a great shot! the next one shows BatDave taking his ride. I'm not sure if they're taking off or landing but it must have been totally exciting!

OK, I gotta explain the last 2 photos & they're really special to me. The Pilot, Captain Gene Nock, said he had seen the post we did here at the Bat-Blog & to show his appreciate he wanted BatDave to give me this Autographed Photo. The 1st pic shows him signing it & then there's the actual signed photo... AWESOME!! That is really cool. What a nice guy! ( Thanks to BatDave & The Junior BatSquad for sharing their adventure & also a thanks for getting me this photo, what a treat! )

Photos of New - BATMAN THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD McDonald's Happy Meal Toys - Due Around April 29th

The Bat-Blog was one of the very 1st websites to announce that the next Happy Meal Toys at McDonalds were going to be "Batman: The Brave and The Bold". Well, here are the photos of what the toys are going to look like! There are a TON of them to collect! Be sure to click on the pic up above for a larger version. It also breaks down as 4 vehicles & 20 figures, whew! Now, we're not quite sure of their size just yet but I'm guessing they'll be way smaller than regular McDonald's Happy Meal Toys. But either way these look extremely cool! Oh yeah, these should be coming out around April 29th, 2011.

One of the coolest things about the last Batman film, The Dark Knight, was the amazing BAT-POD Motorcycle. This thing was totally custom & very well designed. I mean, it was CRAZY! Shown here are 2 Videos that are sort of like mini-documentaries. They both cover information about the vehicle movie prop in high detail & are also very entertaining to watch, enjoy.

New BATMAN Collectibles - Character Bandz

OK, you might have seen your 11 year old nephew wearing these. They're called BANDZ & basically they're fun jewelry for kids. They are rubber-bracelets made in the shapes of popular cartoon & comic book characters. Here are a few different packages to buy that are Batman-related: Bat-Vehicles, Bat-Symbols, & Villains. I've seen these at Target for around $4.00 a package. I really like the design of the packaging, great graphics! I also think these would make nice Christmas stocking stuffers. ( Thanks to The BATFAN for sending the cool photos )

BATMAN GOLF CART Inspired by "The Dark Knight" Tumbler Batmobile

OK, There's a few people who hated the new Tumbler Batmobile from the recent Batman movies & there's a ton of people who totally loved it ( I loved it ). But regardless of your opinion, you just gotta admit that this is an extremely clever Custom Golf Cart! Yes, this thing was totally inspired by "The Dark Knight" films. It's crazy! Unfortunately it's not an official product. It was customized by a Warner Bros employee & is currently used to get around the lot. Now, my question is, how many of you would totally buy one of these?

Fisher Price Imaginext DC SUPER FRIENDS - ROBIN With BATCYCLE!

Just a quick posting here. This is a pic sent in by our good friend Batmobilly! He said he just saw this action figure at Wal-Mart & it's sort of a very hard one to find so he took a picture. It's the ROBIN WITH BATCYCLE from the Fisher Price Imaginext DC SUPER FRIENDS toy line. Later, I told Billy that one day I was at Toys-R-Us. They had a HUGE area for all this great DC SUPER FRIENDS Action Figure stuff ( Vehicles, Play Sets, Figures, everything! ). There was a TON of toys & it took-up almost 1/2 the row. Out of curiosity I started to add-up all the prices in my head. Just to buy all the stuff they had that one day it would have cost like $300 dollars! The thing to keep in mind is that this is not even all the toys they have made ( or will make ). Not even close. Plus some other stores have "Exclusives", etc... So, I guess if you're like me & can't afford to buy it all ( I tend to be a "Completest Collector" ) then at least just get the few pieces that you really like. Well, this ROBIN figure with Bat-Cycle would go on that list because it's really cool!

9 Old School BATMAN Vehicles That Rocked!!

Over at the BREAKDOWN COVER website they created a really neat list ( with photos ) of the Top 9 Coolest Classic Vehicles that were used on the 1966 BATMAN TV Show. Like the 1st one ( #9 ) was the "Batman Parachute Pick-Up Service" Van...that's funny! They also show some of the Custom Cars used by the Bat-Villains like Catwoman, The Joker, & The Penguin. Here's a link to check it out, just click HERE!

Funny BATMAN HUMOR Pictures, Photos, & Stuff!

OK, I thought it would be a good time for a laugh or two ( or 3 ) so, HERE WE GO! Most of these humor pics speak for themselves so I'll just let you look at them & gather your own conclusions. But I gotta say that the comic book panel from the Captain America comic book is really really funny! Especially when you consider that it's a Marvel Comics title & not made by DC Comics. Anyway, which one is your favorite?

New BATMAN HOT WHEELS Vehicles & Batmobile Cars For 2010!!

For the last year or so I have been totally & completely loving the incredible 1:50 Scale Die-Cast Batman Vehicles & Batmobiles that Mattel has been coming out with. Here are some photos from the Official Hot Wheels Collector website of a few cars to keep an eye out for in 2010. The 1st photo is probably the weirdest one, but it's also a Classic Car that many Bat-Fans are gonna really love. It's the "Penguinmobile" from the 1966 TV Show! The next one, of course, is the Batcycle from the 1997 movie. In fact, all the rest shown are from various Batman movies. The 3rd one is the famous Bat-Missile from 1992's "Batman Returns". The 4th one is the "Cocoon Batmobile" from 1989. The 5th Car is from 1997's "Batman & Robin" & then there is the one from "Batman Forever". The last pic shows the Bat-Boat!!

New BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD - TRANSFORMING BATCYCLE Action Figure Toy Vehicle

Our good buddy BATMOBILLY sent us this beautiful set of photos from his trip to Toys-R-Us the other night. It looks like Mattel has released another Large BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD Action Figure Vehicle for us to all drool about! This is the B&B TRANSFORMING BATCYCLE! I remember a long time ago when Mattel started this line of toys they said in a publicity statement that they would be making a ton of stuff for this cartoon & they have not been lying one little bit! It's almost imposable to keep up with their crazy toy production, both as a Blog Reporter & Toy Collector! Oh Man, I need like 3 more jobs to be able to afford all this cool stuff, ha ha! But this looks like one I will defiantly have to get, it looks really great! Basically it's a Bat-Cycle that transforms into a Bat-Robot-Mech-Suit...AWESOME! ( Thanks Billy )
